7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Our March meeting will be held via Zoom on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from the studio of Mimi Huszner Fagnant, Lilac Wind Lampwork Art Glass.

Have you ever wondered about electroforming?  Mimi Huszer Fagnant from The Lilac Wind Lampwork Art Glass has offered to show our members her electroforming set up and explain the process on Friday evening, March 26, 2021.  As most of you know, Mimi is very lively and is always more than willing to share. So, mark your calendars to save the 7-9 PM slot for that evening!

Mimi has been a freelance designer for much of her adult life, quilting, stencil designing, stained glass and glass fusing were some of her specialties. Then she worked for 17 years as an in-house designer for a bead manufacturing company, learning the bead/jewelry business. Finally, she started making glass beads in 2002, where she found her true passion. Normally she sells at bead and craft shows. A few stores and galleries also carry her finished items. This COVID year changed a lot. Not having the show pressure, she has taken a few lampworking classes, pushing her skills.  Mimi studied and taught herself electroforming on her beads and small sculptures. Mimi is willing to share a beginner’s overview of electroforming.

Guests can pay using the Buy Now button below and a link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed to you.
