May 2021 Meeting and Demo

Our May meeting will be held via Zoom on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with a demo by Sally Prasch.

Sally Prasch, scientific glassblower for both U. Mass Amherst and the University of Vermont, who has a life-long involvement in glass moves seamlessly into art glass and beads.   Always generous with her knowledge, Sally says she will demo both wound hollows and hollow beads made from tubing.  Pull up your chair, grab your favorite snack, put your feet up and watch Sally work her magic!  Bring your questions.  Sally is always lively and very willing to share her expertise.

The meeting and demo are free for members and is open to all others who want to attend for our usual $8.00 guest fee, which is applicable toward a yearly membership of $25.00 within 30 days of the meeting. A link to the meeting will be sent to all members in an e-mail. If you're not a member and would like to join, click on the Application menu option above.
